Yes, it is that time of year again! The final Spring performance!!! Gemma has come so far with her dancing. I love watching her! I am trying to get her into the Associates program at the National Ballet school!!! I think she would love it!!!

I am past the half was point in the challenge!!! Only 23 more layouts to go. The thing is I really don't have any money to buy new products any way, so maybe the challenge will be how many layouts can I get done before Mark's job actually, for real starts and I will have less time to scrap. The irony is, when I have less time to scrap, I have more money to buy supplies with.

So I have done 15 layouts so far for the challenge. I have had to take a break to design some cards for some up coming workshops. However, I wanted to point out the scroll on this layout. It is chipboard, and I used 5 ink colours, then Butterscotch alcohol ink and then sealed it in Crystal effects. I think it is one of my best chipboard jobs thus far.

Gemma is currently busy planning her wedding to Joe, and they are now going to have 1 baby boy named Superman. They were going to have a baby girl named Marzipan, but things change. Gemma is going to be a painter, before she has her baby, which at that point she will stay home and Joe will go to work.

I finished all my 2005 Scrapping!!! Or at least I think I have until a mystery photo appears from no where. So now I can concentrate back on to 2006. I don't like to be more than a year behind in my scrapping, so now I can continue to scrap the pictures I want to in any order.

This is at Gemma's first School Winter Concert. They did 2 poems and 1 song. it was all very cute. I wish she was in the front row though because I dressed her to look like a snowflake. Her shirt is white with silver snowflakes, she has on a silver skirt and sparkly silver shoes.

We had a very busy day today. First we went to the IATSE 873 Children's Christmas Party. They had bouncing playgrounds for all ages, hamburgers and hotdogs, popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, cookie decorating, crafts galore, story telling, a magician, and of course Santa Claus and a gift for every child.

From there we headed to Brampton so Gemma could join Grandma Giles and her cousin Hayley to go and see Cinderella - the play. All 3 of them had a great time.

Then back in the car to go to Trinity Bellwoods Community Centre for their Holiday Showcase. Gemma performed her Jazz dance by herself (watching her teacher do the moves) in front of a bunch of strangers and she was amazing. No stage fright on her part. We have the DVD version if anyone is interested.

And then home for everyone to crash.

Today at Gemma's Gymnastics class they had a little Christmas party, and to add to the fun they had a competition for the parents. We had to do a front roll, a cart wheel and the splits. So earlier in the day I thought I would practice and once I realised how good I was I thought this was my competition to lose. And lose I did not! I won the splits competition hands down!!! Woohoo!!

Gemma has come a long way in her dancing. She now extends her legs, points her toes and shows a true emotion. She has the natural grace to be a dancer.

I used the Bohemia Christmas papers for this LO. The ribbon is from Maya Road, and the flower and metal embellishments are from Imaginisce.

The picture was taken last week when we went to visit Santa at the Bay on Queen St., after the parade.
